Access To Employment
helping youth reach their goals
Beginning April 1, 2019, ACCESS Youth Outreach is excited to add an employment program to serve the youth of the Tri-cities! This innovative program partners with Work BC and other non-profits in the Tri-Cities catchment to provide youth up to 24 years old with job skills training, interviewing skills, resume building and finally access to the employment market.
This program is far more than just helping our youth find a job; we’ve also partnered with “employee friendly” businesses that understand the barriers some youth face today in finding and sustaining meaningful employment.
Preserving Our Future
if you’re a business owner,
you can help
#FollowTheBus as we tour the Tri-Cities, meeting youth where they are! Get the latest info on bus stop locations, scheduling and more. Learn about the original, award-winning mobile drop-in centre that made ACCESS what it is today!
ACCESS TO Basic Needs
The Bus provides warm blankets, hot cocoa and food items for youth in need. The Bus also provides resources & education on sexual health, substance abuse, where to get help, and a safe place for youth to connect and share their story.
Come and find us at Coquitlam Centre! Each Thursday and Friday, two ACCESS outreach workers can be found hanging out and providing outreach services, program information, beverages and more. See you at the mall!
