How you can help:
If you are interested in supporting anyone or all our programs, there are several ways you can help. Here is how you can support each program individually:
Project Reach Out:
Hit our bus logo and donate any dollar amount for gas to move that bus!
Project Reach Out always values the following donations:
-Toques, gloves, mittens, scarves
-Socks and underwear (we need in all sizes for women and men from XS to XL)
-books of youth and adult bus tickets
-gift cards to grocery stores or restaurants in $10 and $15 amounts
If you are interested in supporting this program, each food parcel costs about $35 per week. You can support a family with great food and important life skills learning by donating $35 per week to Youth Gour-Made. Just click on our Gour-Made button below to donate:
Youth Gour-Made is also interested in food donations in large quantities. For example:
Rossdown Foods donated whole chickens before the holidays, one for each of our families, so our youth participants could learn how to roast a bird. Yummy! Santa Rosa BC Donated 60 packages of tortilla shells for the week our youth learned how to make fajitas. So tasty! The People’s Pantry Food Recovery donated flats and flats of eggs, and enough blocks of cheese so our families could learn how to make quiche from scratch. This was a very delicious dish, indeed. If you have the capacity to donate fresh or frozen food in large quantities, contact our Chef Karen at: email@example.com to coordinate this type of donation.
The Art Journaling Group:
If you are interested in sponsoring a youth so they may have an opportunity to participate in our Virtual Art Journaling Group, each art kit costs $250 per participant. We also appreciate brand new art supply donations. We accept new paints of any type, art journals, glitter, glue, paint brushes—any art supply that is new, never been used, and will allow our youth participants to explore their artistic creativity. Please hit the donate button below and support one or multiple youth by donating in amounts of $250 per youth participant and subject the donation “Art Journaling Group participation”:
Youth Empowerment Worker Program:
Our YEWs go everywhere for our youth! We could always use support to fund this program in the following ways:
-Business/professional clothing donations for all gender on all sizes, including professional shoes. As we support our youth in becoming employment ready, having suitable interview and professional attire is most valuable to provide to our youth so they may find employment success.
-Gift cards to grocery stores in in $50 and $100 quantities. Many of our youth struggle with food security. Having the ability to provide our youth with grocery gift cards is one of the best ways you can support a youth in need.
-ACCESS also appreciates any dollar amount donated to our Housing First Fund. These donations are used to support youth who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness so we may provide them with damage deposit for a home of their own. If you wish to donate to our Housing First Fund, please click the YEW button below and subject the donation “Housing First Fund”.
